Delete your account

Two separate things. Your food diary lives on your phone and you can erase it yourself, right now, without asking us. Your account lives on our server and we delete it when you ask.

1. Your diary, on the phone

Meals, photos, weights, targets and settings are stored only on your device. We have no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete. To erase it:

Delete individual meals, weights or water entries from inside the app, or
Uninstall BiteIt, which removes all of it — diary, photos, weights and profile — with the app.

Uninstalling is immediate and cannot be undone.

Settings → Reset is not a data wipe. It restarts the setup questions and clears your profile and targets, leaving your logged meals and weight history in place.

2. Your account, on our server

The account holds your email address, a random account identifier, your subscription record, and — if you signed in with Google — the name and profile picture Google passed to us. To have it deleted:

Email junayedhasan2178@gmail.com from the address you signed in with. Sending from that address is how we confirm the request is yours — we will not act on a request to delete someone else's account.
Use the subject line Delete my BiteIt account so it is not missed.
We reply to confirm, then delete. This normally takes a few days and never more than 30 days from the request.

The button opens your mail app with the request written out. Send it from the account's own address.

What is deleted

Your email address
Your account identifier and sign-in record
Your name and profile picture, if you signed in with Google
Your subscription record — the plan, where it was bought, and its expiry

Once deleted, signing in with that address will no longer find an account, and any subscription attached to it can no longer be restored on a new phone.

What we cannot delete

Your purchase history at Google Play. Google keeps its own record of what you bought. It is not ours to erase — manage it in your Google account.
Crash reports. If the app crashed on your phone, a report may carry your account identifier. These are not searchable by email address and are deleted automatically by the error-tracking service within 90 days.

Deleting the account does not cancel your subscription. Google Play will keep charging until you cancel it there. Cancel first — Play Store → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → BiteIt — and then ask us to delete the account.
